Dear Respondent,
This anonymous online survey provides the opportunity for sellers using online marketplaces in Poland, Latvia, and/or Lithuania (e.g. Amazon, Allegro, Pigu, 220.lv, or other platforms) to provide information about your experience with these platforms to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
This survey is part of to the OECD’s Competition Market Study of the Digital Sector in Poland, Latvia and Lithuania (you can find more information on the project here). The study will examine the state of competition in online marketplaces, in order to ensure that competition is functioning as effectively as it could. If competition issues are identified, the OECD will provide recommendations to resolve these.
Your response to this survey will provide crucial insights about the functioning of online marketplaces from a seller’s perspective. In particular, your response will enhance the OECD’s understanding of the market, help identify any issues, and contribute to the development of appropriate recommendations for the sector (which may be targeted at the platforms, and/or national, EU or other institutions).
This survey is anonymous, however if you are willing to be contacted by the OECD team you can indicate it explicitly in the last question.
Your replies will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with any public or private organisation. The data and information that you share with us will only ever be available to the OECD, and will never be made available to any online marketplace or intermediary active in these markets.
Information received may be used to inform our published final report, but will not be directly attributed and will be anonymised and/or aggregated to prevent identification.
We thank you for your participation in this questionnaire.
Kind regards
Competition Division, OECD
