The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has been invited to work with the Welsh Government to help outline a long-term regional development vision for Wales. The OECD is an international organisation with 38 member countries, including the United Kingdom. It works with national and sub-national governments to build better policies for better lives.

This questionnaire is about the future economic, social, environmental and community development challenges and priorities for Wales and Welsh local communities. It seeks to gather opinions and perspectives from a wide range of citizens in the public, private, and civil society spheres.

Your responses will provide critical inputs for a vision-setting workshop on regional development with the Welsh Government and selected non-governmental actors, facilitated by the OECD. Your perspective will help the Welsh Government and Welsh Local Authorities improve services, enhance social and economic well-being, support entrepreneurs, generate growth, and increase the quality of life throughout Wales. The vision-setting workshop will take place in the second quarter of 2022.

Please reserve about 10 minutes to complete the full questionnaire. Once you start the questionnaire, you CANNOT save and resume.

The deadline for submission is 21 June, 2022. If you have any questions about the questionnaire, please send these to
